Description: The Praise Team is responsible for discipling young adults by providing an atmosphere of worship and by mentoring musicians. It provides worship music for Sabbath School and other Encounter activities with an intentional use of themes and music to fit the topics of worship, praise, study, and fellowship.

The team leaders coordinate a core group of nine musicians and vocalists and are always looking to recruit new help to create additional teams. They have created a community of belonging for the participants in this team and as a result of their interaction have formed a band and are writing original music.

As a result of having new music that is relevant to Adventist young adults, an opportunity for ministry is opening up and the group is working on recording music. In addition to this ministry, the Praise Team also coordinates with the Service Team in a monthly music ministry to a local nursing home. The Praise Team continues to direct the hearts and minds of Encounter members to a deeper understanding of, and worship of, our Lord and Savior and provides each member an opportunity to express their love and adoration for God.
